Norsk Titanium Approved Supplier for Rolls-Royce Development Activities

Oslo, Norway, 29 October 2026: Norsk Titanium AS (Euronext Growth Oslo: NTI, OTCQX: NORSF) today announced that it has received a purchase order from Rolls-Royce Plc for a titanium component that is being explored as a possible option for use across current civil aerospace engine programmes.

The Ti-6Al-4V structural component was manufactured at Norsk Titanium’s Technology Center in Norway, using the company’s proprietary Rapid Plasma Deposition® (RPD®) technology. Final machining is being completed in Germany through the project supply chain.

The order marks an important milestone in Norsk Titanium’s engagement with Rolls-Royce Plc, demonstrating the potential application of wire-based Directed Energy Deposition within an aerospace engine environment. “This order represents an important step forward in our relationship with Rolls-Royce,” said Fabrizio Ponte, President and CEO of Norsk Titanium. “It demonstrates both the maturity of our RPD® technology and our ability to work within an established aerospace engine supply chain. We believe this phase of exploratory work creates a foundation for identifying additional development opportunities over time,” continued Ponte.

Norsk Titanium is approved as a supplier of parts for Rolls-Royce development activities. The companies will use the experience gained through this project to assess potential future applications for RPD® technology.
