Norsk Titanium Approved as Additive Manufacturing Special Processor for Northrop Grumman

PLATTSBURGH, NEW YORK – April 14, 2023: Norsk Titanium US Inc. (OSL: NTI, OTCQX: NORSF), a global leader in metal 3D printing through its Rapid Plasma Deposition® (RPD®) technology and ongoing part sales to the highly regulated commercial aerospace and semiconductor industries, announces its addition to Northrop Grumman’s approved special processor listings (ASPL) for production of wire-fed rapid plasma deposition of titanium.

As part of an ongoing development effort, Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) is evaluating the application of Norsk Titanium’s RPD® technology for aircraft componentry for NGAS US Department of Defense (DoD) applications.

Norsk Titanium plans to continue maturing their RPD® technology for DoD applications, and has configured their operations at the Plattsburgh Defense and Qualification Center (PDQC) to handle efforts controlled under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
